Maison Pierre is a family home located in the delightful village of Leon in the heart of the region. It was built during the 1960s and has recently been tastefully modernised to accommodate up to 6 people in three bedrooms. There are three comfortably sized bedrooms – one with a Kingsize bed, one twin room and one standard double.  A travel cot, baby bath and high chair are available if required. There is one WC and a separate shower room, a large new family kitchen and living room with direct access to the garden. There are English, French and German TV channels available.

Outside

There is a spacious, enclosed garden and a large 8x4m heated outdoor pool. The pool is treated with a salt system which uses far less chemicals than a standard pool and is gentler on the eyes and skin.  There is a cool terrace at the front of the house to enjoy some shade while you eat or enjoy a coffee. From here, if you are lucky, you can often see deer crossing the field in the early evening at the rear of the garden.

On the ground floor there is a garage which is large enough to store your bikes and surfboards and a plancha style bbq available for use along with a laundry room.

Location, location, location

The house is brilliantly situated at the end of a leafy private lane, a peaceful and calm environment but which is in easy reach on foot with everything the town has to offer. The Lac de Leon is a short ten minute walk from the house where there are opportunities to paddle board, canoe, hire a pedalo ,take a boatrip or simply play . There is a small playground and mini golf site, perfect for children, and a popular restaurant and ice cream bar. Ten minutes in the opposite direction from the house is the centre of village itself where there are a selection of bars and restaurants, a pizzeria, bicycle hire ,tourist information office, supermarket and a variety of other small clothes and trinket shops. Twice a week, the town square hosts one of the largest markets in the region boasting excellent local food produce, wine and knickknacks.
